New ports committer: Ion-Mihai Tetcu

One up for the romanian world domination team. Please welcome Ion-Mihai Tetcu to the team of ports committers. As always, send too many patches and you get punished.

New ports committer: Stefan Walter

Again, portmgr has granted a commit bit as punishment for someone sending too many updates and improvements to our ports tree. The victim this time is Stefan Walter. Please give him a warm welcome!

New ports committer: Lars Balker Rasmussen

I got a new mentee. This time I was smart enough to find one in Ã…rhus, so if he makes a mistake, he can buy me beer the same night, instead of having to wait for half a year for the next conference :-)
Please welcome Lars Balker Rasmussen to the team. He has been doing way too much work on the perl Catalyst framework in our dear ports tree.

3 new ports committers

Mark Linimon was so kind to take over as portmgr secretary for me while I was away. Unfortunately, I didn’t prepare him well enough so he ran into some practical problems, which was quite unfortunate in a month with all of 3 new committers. Thanks for taking over Mark!

The new committers which will need all the best of luck are Johan van Selst (flz to mentor), Alejandro Pulver (garga as mentor) and Jean Milanez Melo (mentored by mnag). Give them a warm hand!

New ports committer: Colin Percival

New committer for ports, but a well known face in src and even more for his work on Security Officer, please give him a warm hand and welcome him to ports as well. Good luck, Colin!

New ports committer: Vasil Dimov

Vasil Dimov just walked intot the big FreeBSD cvs trap by sending too many high-quality patches on ports as well as ports infrastructure and the porters handbook. Garga is therefore punishing him in the usual way with a commit bit. Good luck to both!

New ports committer: Andrey Slusar

Sergey Matveychuk (sem) proposed Andrey Slusar to portmgr for a commit bit and portmgr approved. Andrey has been working on our emacs ports and bsd.emacs.mk, and we’re happy to see someone is doing the work on that. Wish him luck!

Yet another new ports committer: Tim Bishop

In a quiet moment at the DevSummit, I found some time to catch up on some of the portmgr mail. The vote for giving Tim Bishop a commit bit with clement as a mentor is now finished with a positive result. Wish them luck!

New ports committer: Aaron Dalton

Something strange happened today. Only one new committer was proposed yesterday and not the usual two at a time as the last times. Anton Berezin (tobez) is going to mentor Aaron Dalton, who has done a tremendous job on our many perl ports and has now received his usual punishment. Please give him a warm welcome.

Two more new ports committers

My theory of aggregated port committers seems to hold. Again, two new ports commit bits were granted today. The first goes to Andrej Zverev, who will be mentored by sem, and the second goes to Emanuel Haupt, mentored by novel. Good luck to you all!
